Firmware problem on the edirol? please help!
« on: February 07, 2008, 09:00:28 AM »
Yesterday I had some troubles recording with my edirol

I recorded 2 shows each being one hour. The first one came out perfect!
The second however came out full of "dropouts" and the waveform is full of "spikes".

Never had this problem before so I wonder what the problem might be.

I did format my Edirol r09 with my 4 GB SDHC card inside. Could this be the problem? I mean If you format your edirol r09 after you have installed the firmware 1.30 do you need to re-install the firmware aswell to have support for 4 gb sdhc cards? Might this be the problem or is there something else like a line in jack problem or something?

Thanks!
