I would be interested to hear the sound. I know what the digital sound is but you're clearly running analog into the recorder. What bit rate did you have set on the d50?

try this soundcloud dropbox out so we can hear the clicking. It claims you don't need to be a member so you should be able to upload to it:

Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

Cliff,

They turned the fountain off about 3 songs into the set!  That help reduce crowd chatter a ton.

brushfire at the city county plaza (he did I didn't)

That was gonna be my guess. I walked down there and saw the SBD waaaaay off to the right and decided against it. The best sounding spot seems like it would be right behind the fountain...unfortunately it was drenched and I wasn't about to set up there either.

Question: did they have the fountain still running even during the show?

Sorry for the thread hijack John!

Home testing my rig setup the same as the show I taped on the 4th and I am unable to reproduce the clicking sound.  ???  I think I will record to internal memory until I upgrade to a faster pro duo card.  Audacity click removal made it better, but there are still some flaws on the recording.   Thanks for all the advice from the board.
