R1 problem tonight!

So I was taping this hip hop show (P.O.S.) and there was so much bass that the R1 actually bounced off the table and hit the floor before i could catch it. Player was locked but stopped recording and the file was lost! The recorder wasn't damaged but this does suck ass. I doubt this is a situation that will be encountered very often and is more of a user error than anything. Just thought I'd post that I did have an issue with the R1. Basically, the recorder had a concussion>

Actually forgot the earplugs at home. It wasn't really that loud volume wise, just a shit ton of bass pressure shaking the floor.
