Sony D10II question
« on: January 21, 2007, 08:37:31 AM »
hey folks, I'm transferring a couple of DATs that were recorded km140 > sx-m2 > Sony D10II.

did the D10II always record with pre-emphasis?  never?  was it selectable?  any info would be great.
thanks.

ok, in listening more closely to this recording in WaveLab, and going back and forth with the de-emphasis EQ engaged/not engaged, I'd say that this recording definitely was recorded with pre-amphasis.

so, was a switch on the deck?  or did all recordings made with the D10II have pre-amphasis?
