Make sure you clean the threads that connect the capsule to the mic head - and - the threads that connect the mic head to the body...(these are more often dirty...) - mine were somewhat gunked up...
I'll try to find the reference - but the person claimed the mics would lose some of their shield and become prone to hum if you dont keep these threads clean...makes some sense. A dab of windex on a paper towel and a thumbnail should do the trick.
