Title: two unrelated questions
Post by: BJ on September 02, 2009, 02:56:00 PM
1) does anyone know where to get right angle 3.5mm MONO plugs?  i would like to build a pair of mono>mono 3.5mm cables

2) thinking of building a good number of very short right angle 1/4" interconnect cables for my guitar pedals...any recs on a decent yet cheaper cable to use?

thnx

FWIW, that Canare Star-Quad cable can be found in bulk on ebay for a fair price...either in spools or in pre-cut lenghts.

I would try your local electronics store to avoid shipping costs.  They usually have that sort of connector.

the only way to go for pedalboards

I used proco cable that I got cheap and local. Any place that does installation or rents gear usually will have something decent on a spool that they'll sell lengths of for cheap.

That's a 1/4", I think the OP was asking for 1/8":

You could also make it simple and get the plug hardwired with a cable :
