New lithium ion pack seems dead

I got one of these in the mail yesterday:
http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=2741
But it won't charge - I left the charger on overnight. I get no LEDs turning on, nothing from either output port...
I checked and the charger is sending 16.8V...
It seems like I have a dead one, but I need this for monday night. does anyone know of a chain store that sells something that can power a V3? wallmart type battery? how many aH of 9v do I need to power a V3 for a few hours?

if you need it fast i am pretty sure radio shack has the 9v lion batteries, but they charge an outrageous price..something like $90
you would be better off getting on of off ebay for under $40...here is a link

fully charged these 4500mAh 9v lion batteries can power a V3 for 3-4hours. I carry two of these to most shows, but usually only use one and the other is backup.

A live concert to me is exciting because of all the electricity that is generated in the crowd and on stage. It's my favorite part of the business, live concerts.

Don't really have time to get anything shipped, show is tomorrow.
I picked up a 6v alkaline lantern battery, which google tells me should be 10Ah+
Anybody ever used one of these with a V3?
