Continued from a question in this thread:

I had the time this week to test the run time of these
Rechargeable 9 volts in my Nbox
http://thomasdistributing.com/shop/-maha-9v-300-mah-nimh-rechargeable-battery-p-503.html?SP_id=&osCsid=cb921d584b96c4d4881badfc87261855
4 rechargeables in Nbox
1st run @ DFF 1bit/2.8mhz 5hrs 30min
2nd run @ 16/44 wav 5hrs 42min
3rd run @ 16/44 wav 5hrs 40min
Just recorded my stereo in front of one speaker
Looked at the waveform at the end of the files and the last few seconds there is a fade out
and then a little spike and thats it. Appears the sound quality stays good until the very end.
Also when i recharged the batteries, the every other show pair needed only minutes to recharge
while the every show pair was completely dead and took hours to recharge.
My thoughts: I'll still use regular 9 volts for the main pair and rechargeables for the secondary pair
because i am extra conservative, but my tests show that rechargeables will power the Nbox fine
for 5 hours.
