I was looking for a Canon lens for my XA10 camcorder and came across this:
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-1041190-TC-DC58-Tele-Converter-1-5x/dp/B000050M1T/ref=sr_1_162?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1331594943&sr=1-162
I understand it is for their still camera...
It has the 58mm tread so I want to use it for my camcorder...is it possible cuz my camcorder can use 58mm lens.

You can use the canon TL H58 im unsure about the other one.you will have to lose the lens hood and most likely if you are at your wide end you may see some black corners in the frame .i bet that xa10 gets some nice footage right?in my experience the tele convertors where a waste of money i would find a way to get closer or zoom in on the image in post production.
