Does anyone have these nearfields? Happy with them? Happy with mix translations? I was thinking about Adam after a lot of great reviews but I have been hearing some weird stories now.

I just pulled the trigger on an awesome deal. These came out in 2004. The list for a pair is $1300. The street is $900-1000. I just got a backstocked pair for $525 shipped! They were opened in store to show a customer who didn't buy them. Brand new all warranties and whatnot. Pretty good deal I must say.
I'd still love to hear opinions. It should be an upgrade for me. I have been getting really annoyed with having to compensate mixes to translate well on other playback systems. I know some of that is my untreated room though. Hopefully these will suite me well.
