looking to see if there is a digital recorded that when played back thru computer viva transfer cord will scribe on computer what voice recording i made. hope this is right place to ask, +T for your help

What you're describing is called voice recognition.  One Windows program of this type that is highly regarded is Dragon NaturallySpeaking, from a company called Nuance.  The program has a feature called AutoTranscribe:

"Using the Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 AutoTranscribe Folder Agent, you can automatically convert audio files from a PDA (personal digital assistant) or voice recorder into text using a predefined voice profile."

The key phrase here is "using a predefined voice profile."  To achieve the highest accuracy, the program has to be trained to understand the speaker.  It will work with an unknown voice, but will produce more errors.

Windows Vista has built in voice recognition that, from the reviews, is close to being as good as NaturallySpeaking 9. I recently got a new computer that has Vista on it. I've been training it to understand me better for dictating and am having pretty good success so far. If you've got Windows XP, NaturallySpeaking would be the way to go.
