wow....it even samples at 96k. neat.

For it to sample at 96K it has to run the tape at double speed.

Curious if anyone has ever run one of these. I imagine they are tough to service as no one I know of has ever run one. I didn't see the dimesions, but it looked pretty big and bulky.
96kHz wouldn't really do much good with it rolling tape @ 2 times speed. Maybe if you always ran 3 hour tapes (and if it would play nicely with the 90m DDS tapes), but it seems that for most bands, an hour and a half of tape doesn't do you much good. There will be always be a tape change.

looks like a cool deck, but I doubt you could get it serviced or even find parts for it anymore
