Title: Anyone seen or use these Rolls mixers?
Post by: Jamos on April 25, 2005, 02:46:30 PM
Rolls makes some great quality, affordable gear...
We use one of these 3-ch mixers at work:

Nice warm pre's, phantom, battery powered by 2 9v's.

also there is a 4-ch version that looks nice:

Just thought it might be a nice option for some folks taping in the field since they are made to be battery powered.

Hey,

I agree my little Rolls MX54s sounds pretty darn good for the price.  Although, it only provides 18v phantom which is a bummer.  Nonetheless, it is very silent!  I have not used it for field recording, just for home use.  Someday, i'll run it w/a decca tree format and see what it can do........

Good post, Thanks.
