as for purchasing it for the duke/unc game instead of the super bowl, I just hope it is a better game than the super bowl was.  Of course there is zero doubt in my hand that whoever loses will be bitching about the officials...just like the super bowl

I think you are underestimating George's Duke homerism

It was and unfortunately the refs have "swallowed their whistles" in many of those situations with the belief that the players should decide the game not free throws. I don't agree with it, but the precedent has always been that way.

Funny thing is, A-Rod gave a bunch of money to U of Miami's Athletic Dept. and just last year was at the Duke/Miami in his Miami colors cheering against Duke.
