I've read up quite a bit on these forums, but haven't found a thread that really looks at the benifits of of me running the XLRs over standard 1/8" (that is if I can get away with that).

I would see if Church Audio could make you a 9100 model preamp with 2 mono 1/8" inputs....
Most preamps/battery boxes have a single 1/8" stereo input. Your mics each terminate to their own 1/8" jack. ]
It looks like those are stereo connectors on the mics, I wonder how they are wired. power/signal/ground ???
