Title: Anyone have ck62's I can borrow for 10,000 Lakes Fest?
Post by: §†∑∫åµÞ≥¥ on June 14, 2004, 06:43:32 PM
It get's a little windy on the plains sometimes and I'd love to run some omni's to help combat it. I'll treat them like my own and run them with my: 460 (Jim Williams mod) > UA-5.

Thanks...
Steve

cc: in "Gear Loaner" section

Edit: I'll naturally pay shipping both ways and supply some recordings.

460 (Jim Williams mod) > UA-5 -- I think the omni's will work well in the flatness of northern MN.

I've never run omni's before. What patterns do you suggest assuming I don't split them? A local friend generally runs his Nak702's in a Healy-like method (straight out and up diagonally), but I wonder what else works? Thanks.

well they're omni's so there aren't really any patterns to run them in.

get a j-disk if you don't want to split.

do the Healy method.

other than that split em! they sound very nice, you won't be dissapointed.

just a heads up, setting levels with omni's can be interesting if you've never done it before, the levels will be very dynamic!

you're going to love the results though, good luck!
