There were a pair in the yard sale a few months ago.  I can't find the listing.   I remember them because I kept eyeballing them, and drooling on my keyboard, and trying to rationalize a great deal of fiscal irresponsibility, but in the end, I couldn't do it.  As I recall they didn't move quickly.   Ebay may be a better source of information.

I paid 3200 for mine through vintageloop.com.  I have seen them go for 2500 here.  Like anything it also depends on what they come with.  The neumann ring mounts and shock mounts cost quite a bit new.

the ring mounts are what you want. the neumann shocks are huge and delicate. the mics are internally shockmounted so the ring mounts will suffice. I used some ADK mounts I think. Way less expensive and way less fragile than the neumann shocks.

2500 would be a nice deal, 3200 is not out of line. Depends on how patient you want to be and, like airbladder said, what accessories are included.

Good point, you want the ring mounts.  I have the older syle ring mounts.  They are a little smaller because you need a screwdriver to tighten them rather than a knob.  The older style ring mounts make using u89s as low profile as your are going to get.  I agree you don't want to run the neumann shock mounts in the field.  The mics do have internal shock mounts and there is no need for an external shock mount in most situations.  I use a pair of cheep on stage shocks, they were like $17 and not huge like the Neumann shocks.
