Price doesn't seem too bad. I would still prefer to have a stereo pair to run spaced omni's with but this mic is pretty damn nice.

when i went to the university of cincinnati I used to work for the audio department recording the musical events in the school theatre.  We had one of these hung from the ceiling and used it straight 2-track a whole bunch with great results!

yeah, this is a really nice mic!  i have some excellent phish tapes done with this mic from i believe 93-94?  i will have to check them out again.  if only i had unlimited cash....
