JB3 button lock while recording
« on: March 08, 2004, 03:57:26 PM »
Does anyone know how to lock the buttons while recording?
I can't seem to get off the recording screen, while it's recording.
I checked nomadness.net, but didn't see anything.

Quite a few JB3 posts recently....perhaps it's own category shoudl be considered again!

Going to test out the FOSTEX COP1 tonight!

To lock:  press the power button (but don't hold it down!!) and it'll prompt you with a lock yes/no option.

To unlock: simply hit any button or scroll the wheel, and it'll prompt you with an unlock yes/no option.

Especially useful when patching or being patched.  9 times out of ten i find mine on the Unlock buttons prompt during set break or at the end of the show.

JB3 power button has a tendancy to stick tho'.  Be careful.  I've turned it off more than once trying to lock it.
