I bought two Edirol R-09HR decks from Jeremy and both arrived damaged. One has a cracked screen and both have multiple horizontal lines across the display at all times when powered on.
Jeremy said he'd refund me for the one with the cracked screen, but not the other one since "that's the risk that you and i both took when we bought used $32 recorders."
My advice to him? Don't offer up broken gear and then not stand behind the sale. 
So, just a head's up to everyone not to deal with this guy in the future. I'm sure he'll delete the for sale thread so this negative feedback will probably be the only record of the transaction.
