Anyone have any suggestions for speakers in the sub-$100 range?  I'm looking at the Altec Lansing VS4121 2.1 system: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836113017
(I've found them for less on Walmart.com... eeek.)  The Newegg reviews seem promising, but I'd really like to hear them first (haven't found them locally, yet) ... or get the opinions of this crew.  Anyone?

In the sub-$100 range, I picked up a lightly used pair of these on eBay for $95, including shipping, and they absolutely rock

I almost always listen to music on my PC now, and my NAD amp and NHT speakers are getting very little love.
Now you see it:  ADK 51TL,  or MK4/41>KC5>CMC6, or AT4051b/4049a > Wendt X2 > R-09HR
Now you don't:   CA-14c  or DPA4061 > CA ST-9100 > R-09HR

Jake: What's this?
Elwood: What?
Jake: This car. This stupid car. Where's the Cadillac? The Caddy? Where's the Caddy?
Elwood: The what?
Jake: The Cadillac we used to have. The Blues Mobile!
Elwood: I traded it.
Jake: You traded the Blues Mobile for this?
Elwood: No. For a microphone.
Jake: A microphone? Okay I can see that.

I run a pair of B&K book shelfs with a Marantz amp.  I have heard good things about the 2 options below...

http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Labs-GigaWorks-Multimedia-Technology/dp/B001RNOHDU

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Klipsch+-+ProMedia+2.1+Speaker+System+%283-Piece%29+-+Black/9382232.p?skuId=9382232&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=9382232&ref=06&loc=01&id=1218095770265
I listened to those Klipsch speakers... they were nice :)  If I return my Altecs, I may try the Creatives...
