Title: A/D micpre and phantom - portable options?
Post by: groovetube66 on April 26, 2006, 11:00:30 AM
On the Rockbox forums its seems they are close to getting the optical digital input working for recording so I can bypass my iRiver preamps and go directly digital.  I know the Denecke a/d preamp is good but it doesn't have phantom.  What affordable options are out there that have two channels of preamp, phantom, and a/d converter?  Can something like an M-Audio duo be used with batteries (a battery pack)?

Thanks!

the most affordable option in the ua-5 as an all in one box

if you already have the denecke ad-20, you can add the denecke ps-2 for p48....
there are a shit ton of options really for a 2 box small set up...

sd mp-2, aerco mp-2, psp2, psp3, mv100, sonosax... etc etc etc fpr pres
adc20, ad-20, sbm1...

all these are portable/stealth... there are many more portable with a larger footprint too...
