MMW Earthworks Onstage??

Anyone know what kind of Earthworks they use on stage?

If I am seeing the purple ring around the body correctly they are QTC1's
MK 4V > KCY 250/5 Ig (KS 10I)  > VST62IUg > 722

No mention of that on the Earthworks website.  Those mics could be a QTC-1, a QTC-40 (according to the website same as the QTC-1), or a QTC-50.  No mention of anything like that for any of them.  Ive never seen any Earthworks used in a vertical alignment, Im pretty sure they are set up in the normal fashion.

I've seen some onstage setups with a vertical alignment. Generally though, side stage omni.

they are QTC-1s or QTC-40's (same mic, different numbers... I have a set of both).

I've seen some onstage setups with a vertical alignment. Generally though, side stage omni.

They are most likely only being used for ambiant mics in a multi-track if they are sidestage, thus I could see why they might be angled upwards for that.
