4.7 mod
« on: May 30, 2014, 09:19:27 AM »
I've asked a couple of times, and searched existing threads, but I'm still not clear on this: what exactly does the 4.7 mod do? Just attenuate the signal? Or is it something more than that? Thanks in advance......

So this does something to the power going to the mics, rather that the signal that they put out?

Ah. So the output of the mics would be at the same "level" (loudness) going to the recorder regardless of if I used the adaptor cable with the mod or not. I think? I think I'm starting to get my head wrapped around this.
