Title: Rendering on Sony Vegas 8 for DL-DVD.
Post by: Depechemode1993 on February 12, 2009, 12:02:59 PM
So I got a few shows I want to put onto a Dual-Layered DVD so that I can hopefully keep the HD quality footage as I add audio from a different source. What is the best way to render the raw m2ts file and keep the HD quality while rendering? I have tried numerous ways and they seem to all be wrong as my footage when I render it comes out to be like 80 GB! like 4 times the size of what the original file is? just a bit confused.

HD footage will not fit on a standard DVD, you will need to jump to Blu-Ray.

ok... well I got a blu-ray drive and I am also ready to use it. So I am guessing now I have to render my footage down to standard def. for a DL-DVD but I can keep the HD quality for Blu-Ray. Can anyone tell me what settings to use for both?
