I'm looking into these for my fr-2le as well. I ran out of batt. power Monday night with AA rechargeables. I copied this from an abay add from all-batteries I think. It looks like the higher amp charging is for the higher mAh batts. I'm sure your batteries are over 2000mAh so I would guess you would charge at 2A. I hope this helps.
