inline battery operated mic preamp for iRiver H120 - any use?
« on: January 16, 2008, 01:43:12 PM »
I've seen this product on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260202573572&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=016) and I was wondering if it would boost the iRiver's performance with an external mic. Any comments anyone?

This is not an amplifier. It is only a smart batterybox, a power supply, feeding 3V to the JFET in the mic capsule.
