File naming for new transfer?
« on: June 15, 2007, 03:58:45 PM »
Hey. When I first started taping I was using MD and doing transfers with an analog soundcard. But, some of these tapes are the best tapes I've ever made, so I'm in the process of re-transferring these shows with an all digital linage. My question is, should I name the FLAC files something different? How would you label them? Thanks!

I'd keep the FLAC files the same name, maybe just rename the folder they're in?

Anyone else have an opinion on this? Is what Dave suggesting the way to go? What do you think I should label the folder? Thanks!

you could add the digital device name into the file/folder name

band2007-06-15.device.flac16
JW mod AKG 460b (ck61/ck63 or mk46/ck1x/ck3x)>  EAA PSP-2 > 722

Segue Dogstar XLRs and Interconnects

ISO: (2) ck2x
