At my church, we are looking at recording our services straight from a soundboard to a computer. We are looking at getting the Tascam US-122 to pass the audio through to the computer via USB from XLR inputs off the board.
Does anyone have any experience with this sort of set up or have any suggestions about what platform to use for the computer (pc or mac) and software to use for processing the audio (what comes with the us-122 or maybe soundforge, cool edit, etc.)?
Thanks in advance.
