Topic: flac/fingerprint question

Man I can be an idiot sometimes 
 I recently uploaded a show to the lma but when I was filling out the track names on the page before it derives I noticed I split the last song into 2 tracks. Then I realized that I never created a fingerprint file either .
  So I merge the last track (w/ Cool edit pro), I flac it with Flacfrontend (the rest were created with CDwav, which I have never tried before) I create a fingerprint file including the corrected track  , I check the item out and  delete the last 2 tracks and re uploaded the new files to the lma server, then I checked it back in.
 Well now I receive a MD5 failure from the lma
 
 My question is after doing all that will the fingerprint files be affected by the multiple use of programs?

the LMA automatically makes a actual MD5 when you upload.  so when you re connect to your ftp delete the md5 from the archive or else it won't verify.  the md5 and ffp are two different things and again the archive makes a md5 for you so if you don't delete it when you change things it won't verify.  hope that helps.
