Software to merge 24/96 wav files
« on: March 06, 2005, 02:32:41 AM »
What software are people using to merge multiple 24/96 files?  I have access to Soundforge 7.0 and Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and am having difficulty figuring this out...Is there a simple way to take 2 files and join them?  Is it as easy as copy and paste or is it a more involved process?  I searched the archives but didn't find anything specifically about this, although I'm sure you've talked about it...

Also, are there any settings in either of those apps I need to have changed from the default?
Nevaton MC49 -> Sonosax SX-R4

I use Cool Edit 2000, so I'd guess Cool Edit Pro is similar.

Under the "file" menu, there's an "Open Append" option, just under the "open" option.

This will attach the second file directly after the first.  then just save as a new file and you're all set.
