I still have 2 of them: 3000es in my den and 3500ES in the living room. I really liked the 3000 but needed the 3500 for the hdmi inputs. Very happy with both of them.

I have the 3000ES and still use it in my family room.  considering I bought it new back in early 2000s and it still holds up sounding great, is pretty phenomenal.

It doesnt sound nearly as good as my primary system that has tube/SS separates, as it shouldn't, but it still sounds great.

I still have a 3000ES driving my VR-2s for both music and TV / movies.  Now that we have the space, I'll eventually get it set up to run 5.1.  Doesn't sound as good as my previous separates system, but still sounds mighty fine -- at a lot lower cost, with much higher WAF.

Rocking a 3000-ES in my living room driving a pair of Usher S520's. Pretty damn good sound from a system that cost me under $600 total.

with much higher WAF.

I got rid of the wife which allowed me to consider separates for my other system :D
