The VR4's are pretty big, doubt they would fit in a Grand Cherokee. You could rent a van for cheap money? I used to go to school in Levittown. My folks still live about 20 minutes away from there. The VR4's are perfect for "live music" I would buy a pair in a heartbeat!

the'll fit in a jeep.  I bought mine out of one.
they are two piece cabinets.  big boxes...but thei'll fit in a jeep.


swapping the tweeters is a good sign.  that means you have newer ones than otherwise.

I plan to swap out all of the drivers in mine.  I can hear one of my sub-whoofer drivers is on the way out.  it "cracks" on a few recordings.

at VSA, they upgrade the vr4 to the vr4.5.  this replaces all of the drivers.  mid range, whoofer and sub.  they take the old vr4 stock drivers and put them in inventory.  so they have shitloads of them.
its only $50 per cone too.  hey...what the hell.

I would measure to be sure, the newer ones (after 1998) are kind of small inside & the roof doesn't have much height.
