Hi pass filter for SCHOEPS CMC 641>Mini-Me?
« on: September 10, 2010, 07:09:46 PM »
Hi folks.
I would first apologize for my bad English, I live in Brazil.
I want to make a lowcut solution for my  CMC 641> Mini-me. From what I've researched, I found the following options:

1)Schoeps Cut 1( $594): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/386424-REG/Schoeps_CUT_1G_Cut_1_Colette.html
2)Schoeps LC 60 U ($299) : http://www.pro-sound.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=SSCHLC60U&Category_Code=BrandSch
3)Shure A15HP ($38): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/68602-REG/Shure_A15HP.html
4) PSC AHPF ($36): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/275824-REG/PSC_FPSC0010F_AHPF_High_Pass_Filter.html

Options 1 and 2 are out of my budget.

My doubt is in relation to items 3 and 4. The shure adapter  has a cut frequency of about 12db at 100hz, but in your manual says something about the perfect impedance for the adapter, which is 150ohms, and the CMC 641 has 35ohms impedance. And the adapter from the PSC, i did not find any specifications about it. I'd like to know what you suggest me?
Thank you all.
