Adobe Audition 2.0 Question
« on: March 21, 2007, 01:00:09 PM »
When I combine two tracks into one long track there is always a little space or click where the two WAV files are spliced.  I never had this problem using Cool Edit Pro.  I like Audition better though aside from this little issue.  Anyone else ever have this happen?

Vinyl:
Fluance RT83 Reference > MCS 3230 Receiver > Realistic MC-500's (NOS)

05/10 Adam Bodine Quartet

06/08 Common
06/19 Sensational Barnes Brothers

are you using the the 'open append' function? try opening a file then use the 'open append' for the next file.

This is the way I do it in Version 1.0 also.  Never had a problem joining files this way and the new file that results will show you the parts that came from each sub-file.

CEP settings has smooth function check boxes in DATA and Multitrack has auto-zero edit points check box that might help making these transitions noiseless if Audition also has these functions.
