Title: Wire The Ideal Copy DAT

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wire-The-Ideal-Copy-DAT-Digital-Audio-Tape-SEALED-in-BOX-87-/122048644531

Just picked this up - should I open it?   It is sealed and was released in a limited qty back in May 1988 - 28 years old now - sealed plastic wrap in the longbox (with a little damage)

It does have a unique track listing and was the first "rock" DAT mass produced - only a handful of other real releases exist, New Order Substance and Technique, The Smiths Rank, and a few others

There was a bunch of unofficial German "greatest hits" rock DAT's, Official Jazz Greatest Hits, and of course bunches of classical DAT's

If anyone has the equipment to liberate it I do but I am on the fence about opening it

Fuck It - I opened it - pretty interesting seeing a sound company printed J-Card and tape - the tape has stickers on it for the side and top labels and without a magnifying glass I can't read the lyrics on the J-Card - maybe if I was 18 I could read them without - No shrink on the tape
