Thought this was interesting, evidently it's the 20th anniversary for the 4011s, so they're celebrating with 11% off the 'international price' and free engraving. :P
Why is it again that these are relatively rarely used by tapers while the 402x are fairly popular?

Why is it again that these are relatively rarely used by tapers while the 402x are fairly popular?
my guess is due to the 402x series is more like an active style mic and allow for a low profile set up, easy tear down, stealthable, etc.
