New Brian eno Discs DSD content

hey there, I was just at my local record shop and they had a bunch of Brian eno remasters from holland. on the back they say DSD. do you think they are sacd? it didnt say sacd on it and the dude behind the counter didnt know. Just wondering because i thought SACD was DSD I figure DSD is also SACD, no?

I would doubt that it is in SACD format. It may have been recorded in DSD, but possibly them tranferred to PCM for CD. Every SACD disc I have seen has the SACD logo on the package, and the disc! Of course, I may be wrong, but I have a feeling it is not SACD...

what were they - his first four albums, or some of the later ambient stuff..?

if they are the first four, i will happily paypal you the $$ to go and pick them up - it is worth it to me to find out. those first four are absolutely f*cking classic!

the first four records were reissued a few months back.
I picked up Taking Tiger Mountain.
you should be able to get them in any reputable record shop.
