Title: Tascam DR-100 mkIII or Marantz PMD-561 for 400$ two-channel recording?

These two recorders were released in the second half of this year. It would be helpful if someone could do a comparison between them; even better if he could post some samples, mainly of the quality of their XLR circuitry.

Seeing as how both of these recorders are very new, I would guess that it will be hard to find a comp...

I've run the Tascam 4 times. Twice with DPA4023 or 4028 into XLR mic in and twice with DPA4028 >Sonosax > XLR line in.
