Where is the product/technical information for the CMRs on the Schoeps website? I'm blind and/or stupid :-[

http://www.schoeps.de/en/products/cmr

I found the PDF very instructive:
http://www.schoeps.de/documents/CMR-2006.pdf

So these guys have been out since 2006?! I guess they didn't take off in the taper scene because there was no off-the-rack bbox>3.5mm solution until recently - is that right?

Probably because they where not designed for concert recording at all....Cool aide doesnt bring the 60 volt juice  :turnevil:

My vote is for the Sony M10..real nice deck.

I am in need of a small recorder that can be used behind a Schoeps CMR>battery box setup. It needs to have a good A/D and solid connectors. After doing some reading, I am considering the edirol R09HR, sony M10, and edirol R05. Someone please give me some direction. Thanks in advance for your help.

Don't get the R-05 until it is fully tested by members here or, even better guysonic. There are reports that it won't accept as high a level as the R-09HR without distortion. The other 2 are great choices, but as previously pointed out, if you need long battery life the Sony is better.

AT853's (all caps)/CM-300 Franken Naks (CP-1,2,3)/JBMod Nak 700's (CP-701,702) > Tascam DR-680
Or Sonic Studios DSM-6 > M10
