Shock mounts in KC
« on: April 03, 2004, 02:21:39 PM »
I know this is a long shot, but UPS lost my package from Dale Pro Audio (which was backordered for 3 weeks) with my new shure mounts.  I was hoping to tape a show tonight to give my new mbho 603s their first run, but I don't have any way to mount them on my stand without the mounts.  Anyone in Kansas City have a pair of mounts I could borrow tonight that would fit the mbho 603s (19 mm diameter I think)?  UPS said they wouldn't reimburse me if I bought new mounts somewhere else, so I'm shit out luck trying to buy anything today.

Please drop me an email if you do ryan.hoyt@earthlink.net

Thanks!

ryan, might be worth your while swinging buy guitar center and getting just some cheap clips (10 bucks for 2 or so) and run with clips vs mounts for one night.  if its not too insanely bassy or bumpy you will be fine

Think I'd be able to use the clips with a vert bar?

Hoyt- Do you ever get over to Lawrence for shows? I'm in Topeka and venture over that way frequently.

you live in KC and they lost a package? One of their main shipping hubs is in Lenexa... ::)

good luck finding some to borrow, +T for your troubles!

Yeah, they think it was delivered somewhere else.  Know anyone in KC named Ellis who signed for a package on April 1st?  :D

I try to, it's only like a 25 minute drive from my apt to Lawrence.  Not to mention the speed limit is going up to 75 on I70 soon, hehe.
