Looks fairly low profile..so maybe it will work in Iriver. It is a bit expesive now, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them start showing up for under $10.
Have the prices on CF cards come down to the point that this would be financially feasable compared to just replacing a bad hardrive?

It "should" work but my only concern is if it will actually fit inside. I ordered one the other day to find out so I'll keep you posted.
I cannot guarantee 100% this will work but at least the connector looks OK.If not, Rockbox can always be changed to support it
CF is the same spec as IDE so there should be no problems.
I would remove the jumper and solder them. They should always be closed for what you're going to use them.It also looks like the thickness will be a bit close...Don't forget to isolate the solder points of the CF adapter - don't want to shortcircuit them.
