JB3 Question unanswered by FAQ

Hey y'all! I just picked up a JB3 from ebay. The fucker didn't come with a battery OR remote though. I'll need a battery for sure. Is ebay the best place to get one? Are they jb3 specific or are they good in any creative product? Can I get a new one on ebay? A used might not have much life left, huh?
Any info or advice would be great, thanks!

Remote is not needed what-so-ever..

As for the internal battery, eBay and creative are your best (only)  bets. Not sure where you are located, but most of the ones on eBay appear to be located in the UK. They are price, at about $50/each.

they are JB3 specific.  Nothing before or since by creative uses this battery.  Good luck.

I am PISSED at this ebay seller! They said it was NEW! No battery, and you can't get batteries from Creative anymore FUCK!

I just bought a battery from creative's site about 2 weeks ago when they came back in stock.  they are currently out of stock but you can click on the "Notify Me" link and they will email when they get in.  I'd say, check it daily or every couple of days.  If people keep ordering the shit out of them then I don't see any reason (at least currently) why they would kill a profit making tool.  The link is in the "Retail Space" forum.  Don't worry too much...you'll eventually get one.
