I recently picked up a set of Sanyo's Eneloop LSD (low self discharge) NiMH's 2000mAh which are supposed to hold their charge and last longer. This package includes a charger and 2 sets of "AA" color coded batteries along with 4 "AAA"'s. http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-Eneloop-Charger-Rechargeable-Batteries/dp/B003VLAEPQ/ref=pd_ys_iyr4
