it is an LCD screen a little bigger than a quarter that you can use to check levels on indescretely

I agree....for stealth purposes...nothing touches this thing...this way, the deck, pre, A/D...however much your using stays out of eyesite (in a pocket or fanny pack) and you adjust using this thing that resembles a watch...can't beat it...

Don't knock the east coast stealth methods my friend..., not all of us can be as sly as you West Coast folks....

>>The D100 remote is a joke. If you want to keep an eye on levels, use an SBM, keep your fanny sack open just a tad and look at it occasionally, if the red over lights are flashing, turn it down a tad. My one experience with the D100 remote was very poor and I ended up stepping on it and leaving it in tiny little pieces...                                                                                 <<

my experiences with it are the opposite of poor.  it's great.  screw an sbm1 and red lights.  i have no lights, just the remote.  works great

suck it mr "east coasters suck yet i listen to all their tapes"
:)
