Topic: I'm asking the tapers

Hi,

Considering that this is the "Ask the Tapers" forum, I'm going to ask the tapers. Not a question, but a big favor. I hate to do that, but...
I'm waiting for my Edirol R09HR, but the prices for a Kingston SDHC 8 GB Class 6 in Brasil are way to high ( import fees etc).
So that's my first question. Is there any good soul out there who can buy one for me and ship it to Sao Paulo, Brasil ( USPS First Class or International Priority air delivery)? I can send the money using Paypal, no problem. Amazon sells them for like 35 bucks, but I'm ready to pay store price ( around 50 bucks, I guess)
Second question. I'm assuming Class 6 is better than Class 4 or Class 2. Is that a good choice or a Class 4 would do the job?

Class 4 should be fine, class 6 is really only necessary for recording video (i use one in my HD camcorder).  Good luck!

The Edirol specs just say that any SDHC card is fine, so I can't see any problem running a better card than the minimum requirements.

BTW, if no US taper wants to hook you up, just get in touch with an Ebay seller and ask them nicely to mark the parcel as "gift" on the customs sticker. For small envelopes like that, i rarely have any problem. No need to involve an extra middleman here.

Thanks for your reply and advice . I hate to ask favors, but sometimes you have to. Anyway, seems that I'm going to get the SD locally, for the same price I would've spend on the merchandise plus shipping.
