you should be able to find a HD 68 pin male (scsi2) to 50 pin male (scsi 1)

I think you missed this link in my previous post...

would this cable work with the card and drive listed above..?

Yer gonna need an external terminator to stick on that drive too. If you want I could prolly hook one up.
Governor Jim McGreevey was equally disturbed about the upcoming population increase. "New Jersey cannot support all of these wookies," he said. "For starters, we don't have nearly enough kindbud. At best, we can muster up a Q.P. of some beasties, but we've not a dime-bag more."

good to see Joe helping others with their DDS drives :) never thought we'd get yours working

FWIW, i bought an external drive and just pulled it out of the case and put it inside my PC. Saved me a hassle as far as cables and terminators were concerned.. but i have yet to get a 5.25" bay adapter so it's just kinda loose in my PC.

once you have it installed, and audio firmware flashed, and DAT2WAV installed, if you have a problem identifying it i have a script i can send you that will step thru all the IDs until it finds it.

i never got VDAT to work but you might want to check it out - it's got a GUI interface that some people like much better than DAT2WAV.

nothing special, a 50 pin male terminator will do.

dat2wav seems my style...

I use shntool all the time, and refuse to use anything but the command-line of md5sum, so I assume dat2wav should work OK...

but you will be the first to know if something does not work ;)

VDAT kicks major ass. It is twice as expensive as DAT2WAV though.

sounded like you were going to run your DDS drive externally, i was talking about the enclosure for it... my DDS drive came that way, and the enclosure (w/ Power supply) is just sitting in the basement.
