any practical way to go M/S in a less than open environment

I'm picturing a twisted plastic figure eight attached to a modified helmet for college binge drinking and just wonder if there is a realistic approach to this.
Would the taper have to remain so still to preserve the angle/spacing/alignment as to make it a moot point regardless?
I like the idea of having more flexability in post and being able to reset the soundstage is real attractive if possible.
Plus in the justification of spending more cash on an expensive hobby, just one more cap would give me so much more flexability :)

If you mean stealth, I have to say, it seems like a tough go. But M-S is not magic- it's subject to the same issues as any other pattern. As long as you kept it coincident.....

I think it would be EXTREMELY difficult to stea&th with MS. How would you mount it? Open, yes, steal&h, NO :)
