So, I had this happen to me at last nights Ryan Adams DC show. Changed to 96k in Wavelab and It saved the recording (had the damn ADV button on from a previous lappie recording). But something else strange happened. The unit was off at the end of the show. I got almost the whole "2nd set", but it cut off maybe aboiut 10 - 15mins prior to the end. THe batteries have plenty of juice. Overheating maybe? Neve had that before, and the JB3 was in open air, sitting on top of a towel that was covering the UA-5. Any thoughts?

was the 'hold' on if not, maybe someone bumped it at the end of the show and hit stop, then the 5-minute shutdown thing happened to save batteries? that would turn it off about 10-15 min beofre the end.

I thought of that too, and I guess we'll really never know, but the bag and the JB3, UA-5, etc were all under the stand to help protect form the sold out 9:30 club crowd.
