Stand for Bogen Extension
« on: December 24, 2007, 01:42:24 AM »
Want to know if this would be ok to use for the bogen extension(http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/5598-REG/Bogen_Manfrotto_3369_3_Section_Extension_Pole_35_.html), looks like its designed for that and since i won't be doing that much open taping thought it would be an ok stand for the few times it would be used. Just wondered how stable it is(24 inch footprint) if anyone knows.

If I am thinking about the right extension, you might consider buying the Impact 6' stand (19.95) and the (13.95) adapter/bracket.  This particular stand has atleast a 24' base but I frequently don't fully extend the base.  This will give you a number of options which I have found really useful.  It is extra equipment to carry I guess, but I haven't minded and don't need to take both all the time anyway.  Check the barrel sizes.
You can do anything.  Sometimes it's just fucking hard.
